Unable to make new appointments in calendar

When I click on New Appointment, nothing happens. I am also unable to
change an existing appointment. I've tried every way I know to add a
new appointment without success. I also tried rebooting. Can you HELP
I live by my calendar and am getting very frustrated.

What version of Outlook are you using? Did you try running Detect & Repair?
