We have moved from a POP3 server to Exchange 2003. Some
users did a "move to folder" of messages from the old POP3
PST file inbox to the exchange inbox. The move seemed to
go smoothly and they didn't get any error messages. When
they try to open some, not all, of the messages they get
error messages that say "Can't open this item. The
operation failed." If you open a reading pane it
says "This item cannot be displayed in the Reading Pane.
Open the item to read its contents". If you autoPreview,
it shows the first few lines of the message just fine but
you still can't open it. We get the same results with
outlook 2000 and outlook 2003. Any Ideas?
