Unable to save file to network

Hello,

I am using Word 2002 and I receive an error whenever I
attempt to save a document to a network drive I receive
an error that reads unable to save or create file/path to
network drive, drive is full. However when I save to the
c: drive the document is fine (the network drive has
plenty of space).

Has anyone come across this error and how did you solve
it.
