Unable to save Word document using the Spanish multilingual option

Hi. I've been trying to save different word documents I have created using
the Spanish multilingual option; however, it never saves. I receive no error
msg; matter of fact, it acts like it is save, but it doesn't save. When I
write documents in English, I have no problems saving -- I only have problems
with Spanish. I am using Win XP Pro sp2, MS Office 2000 Pro. Please help...
