Unable to send mail

Ruth

Have been using Outlook Express for over 2 years. On Dec
23rd I get the error message:
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Possible causes for this include server problems, network
problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Account: 'mail.uk2.net', Server: 'smtp.uk2.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number:
0x800CCC0F"
Except I'm online and my server has not terminated the
connection. I switch servers and get the same message. I
can receive mail OK, and surf the net, but cannot send
any outgoing mail.
Any ideas?
Ruth

I am having similar problems today, as I did a year ago.
Check to see if you have an e-mail stuck in your outbox. A
momentary loss of your server connection, may have
stranded a message in your outbox.. Microsoft website has
several approaches to fixing this. I had success a year
ago, but am not having success now, as taking any actionin
Outlook, freezes it up.
