Underlining Spaces

Word 2000:

TESTING ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE
THIS IS NEAT

What I want to do is underline the entire second line up to the E in FIVE.
Is there an option to allow me to underline spaces without having to have
another letter typed in at the end?

Regards,
Kevin

Select the text then CTRL+U
If you want to vary the underline style - then format > font and pick the
style you want.

If you want to have an underlined space after E in "FIVE", just type a
space, apply underline formatting to the entire line (including the
space) and then check the option to "Draw underline on trailing
spaces" on the Compatibility tab of Tools>Options.

Alternatively, use a nonbreaking space followed by an ordinary space or a
paragraph or line break.
