undo save

I was creating a new power point presentation from an old
one and accidently saved over the old presentation. Is
there any way I can recover this?

Only if you have a backup copy. That's why you probably got the message
that the file already existed and it asked whether you really really wanted
to replace it. For the future, you might want to install the free
"Sequential Save" add-in that Shyam offers at
http://www.mvps.org/skp/seqsave.htm
