No, no, no. I mean:

How do I tell Office XP to stop hotsyncing my address book, and use the Palm
Desktop instead?

Well, if Microsoft can control my calendar, they should be able to STOP
controlling it, or do they just hang on, like everything else?

M

Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

Hotsync is the application accessing the calendar of office xp - if you want
it to stop, then look under Hotsync help - Microsoft nor Outlook have
nothing to do with the application, nor do they have anything to do with
switching from Outlook to the Palm Desktop. Ask Palm as they are resposible
for all Hotsync and Palm Desktop help files.

EVERY OTHER PROGRAM I HAVE ALLOWS THAT SWITCH! IF THEY CAN, MICROSOFT CAN!

If Microsoft gets their hands in my stuff, shouldn't they be able to pull
their hands OUT?

If not, this is the WORST hotsync conduit I've every heard of!

M

Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

The Hotsync conduit was programmed by Palm, not Microsoft. Get over it and
go to the right place to find assistance - this is not it since it has
nothing to do with Office! Not sure? Ask any Office help (F1) using the
search term Hotsync - then use Palm's support forums and use the search term
Hotsync - BINGO.

See, I can use Caps too.

But every other program I've used allows you to turn it off, or allow Palm

If you use the method provided, it works just fine. That method is
provided by the Palm "desktop". Rant as you wish, the means to do what
you want is in your hands, you will need to learn how to do it if you
wish to effect changes.

Go to Start, Programs, "Palm Pilot" or similar, click that and then
"Desktop" or what ever they called it. Now when that is open click on Help.
So what is this method?
