unexpected error 2121

advance scout

anyone know what unexpected error 2121 is and how to fix? Using Access 97
and windows xp - everything was fine until today. no changes except adding
some new records. Access is setup as front end and backend. suddenly
getting unexpected error 2121. All of my files are there.
