Unexpected error

Every time I try to start Outlook 2002, it gives me a
message saying unexpected error. How do I save all my
emails, tasks, contacts, appointments, etc. before I
reinstall outlook?

Try the Detect/Repair option first.
the *.pst file contains the relevant emails etc, this is a hidden file
