Unicode error

Hello,

I created ODBC linked tables in Access and I can view almost all the tables
but one (the one I need of course) gives me this error message:
The width of a unicode text column must be an even number of bytes

And because of this, when the table opens, a third of the text is normal and
the rest look like chinese font so I can't read it.

Anyone know why or how to solve this problem?

A couple of possibilities:
1. Learn Chinese
2. If the field size is an odd number of characters, make it even

I'm not sure either of these is possible or not.
