uninstall ms office 2000

I'm trying to uninstall ms office 2000. it asks for the installation disk
when I try to remove via windows remove. The grandkids have lost the disk,
so i don't have. How do I uninstall office 2000 w/o the disk?

You should be able to get rid of any registered software by going to the
control panel, Add/Remove software, scroll down until you find the package
that you want to clear, and clicking the Add/Remove button. If that doesn't
work, you'll need an "Uninstaller" which can be purchased (Circuit city, Best
Buy, any computer place) or look for some freebees on the Internet. Use the
search engine of your preference and search for "uninstall software free" to
see what is out there.
