Uninstall Office 2000

Having an issues with Word crashing the system whenever
it has been opened, tried an uninstall and re-install but
that didn't seem to work. Although I did notice that a
lot of my settings from the pervious install were saved
(i.e File locations, etc), this leads me to believe that
Office wasn't completely uninstalled. Is there anyway of
completely uninstalling office.
