Unique type of animation

I am using PPX for Mac. I am doing a major presentation for a lawyer and
this is what they want:
A box will show up containing information. The next step will be that this
box will melt into a smaller box that will be along side a timeline. Can
this be done? Any help will certainly help me out. I am stuck as to how to
get the first box to melt (and disappear) into the smaller box. Thanks.

Yes this can be done - at least in PPT 2002/2003 using FADE IN for the
original large box >> MOTION PATH + FADE OUT and during animation have small
box FADE IN. But am uncertain of PPT for Mac animation capabilities...
