Units of Measure

Hello all - I am new to Publisher 2007 and to this group. I apologize in
advance if this has been asked and answered.

I have Publisher 2007 running on Vista Business. All Control Panel Regional
Settings are set to Canada.

Two Questions

First - I set the Units of Measure to Inches in Tools|Options but the
setting only holds for the session. When I open Publisher for another
publication, the Units of Measure default back to Centimeters. Can I make it
stick to Inches?

Second - All the Blank Page Sizes are in centimeters. Again, can I get
Inches offered as measurements?

Thanks

The only way to make the inches stick is by changing your regional area to the
US.

Thanks Mary. I just tried changing the region to US but no luck. I still get
inches. Any other suggestions?

If you want inches...your dilemma is solved.

If you want centimeters...go to Control Panel /
Regional and Language Options...choose...
English (United Kingdom)...Apply / OK.

Sorry if I'm not clear.

I want inches.

Region (as set in Control Panel) is Canada. If I set Region to US it makes
no difference.

Publisher (2007) always defaults to centimeters when it opens. I can use
Tools|Options to set the units of measure to Inches but the setting doesn't
stick. When I leave the session and reopen Publisher, I am back to
Centimeters.

{{I did mistype in my last post to Mary - it should have been ... 'I still
get centimeters' ...}}

Thanks
