Receive the following event several times a day in the application
event log. PSCOMPlus has been removed and rerun with no issues.
Still seeing error message. Have a 4 server environment. One PS front
end, One WSS, One view processing/session management and One database.

Has anyone ever seen this error before?

I get this same problem. Each time I run the PSComplus.exe to creat
the COM objects all works fine again.
The next day, Project server will no longer access Sharepoint agai
until I rerun pscomplus.exe.
This seems like a bug in the COM+ module for PS as searches have show
others with this issue but no one with a solution.
As a bandaid for this until a fix is released I would like to run
batch file that will is scheduled each morning to script PSComplus.ex
but I can't seem to find any switches to create this command lin
batch.
Anyone have any fixes for this or know what the switches fo
PSComplus.exe are

I can't seem to find a fix for this - each morning I have to run th
PSComPlus.exe utility to make Sharepoint connections from Projec
Server work again.
Why would the autentication or COM connection stop at a set time?
Anyone have any insight on this or how I can run PSCOMPlus.exe from
batch file to make this connection work each morning

We too are receiving this error message in our event log. Haven't
found a solution yet.

I found a setting in the Component Service admin tool to 'Leave runnin
when idle'. This seems to keep the COM+ connection running for a whil
longer. Some days the connection remains, on other days like thi
morning I have to run the PSCOMPlus.exe utility to make it work again.
Not sure what is happening to have this effect.
Anyone else have any solutions
