I am in the process of deploying Project Professional 2003 to machines in our
company using SMS. Currently, the machines have Project 2000. I used the CIW
to create a transform to make the upgrade very easy for the users. I did some
testing and the upgrade went fine, however, I noticed that after the upgrade
when I opened Project 2003 I got a message box, asking "would you like to
copy your global settings from your previous installation of Microsoft
Project to Microsoft Office Project 2003?" Is there a way I can set the
deafult to copy the settings, this way the users will not see the message box
anymore the first time they open Project 2003 after the upgarde? In my
transform file I chose the option to "migrate user settings" so I do not
understand why it did not automatically migrate the global settings. Please
help.
