Upgrade from 97 to 2000

Our computers have just been upgraded from Win
NT '97/Access 97 to XP/Access 2000.

When I access the Database, I don't get a conversion
request (Which is what I expected), but a very old version
of the files (June 2003). I suspect someone has
previously "converted" it without my knowledge.
When I open with '97 it's OK - All files and forms are up
to date, but open with 2000 and everything is old!

I've tried zipping and unzipping and the repair tool to no
avail - anyone got any bright ideas?

Converting an Access database does not really "Convert" it. The conversion
process really makes a copy of the old database in the new version. So what
you have is really 2 copies, the 97 version and the 2000 version. You need
to open the 97 file in Access 2000 and "convert" it again. What you are
opening is not the same file.

Tools, Database Utilities, Convert Database.

If that is not available, import all objects into a new file.
