Upgrade from Schedule +

Yes, we are still using Schedule +.
We are considering switching to Outlook 2002 as we have it
anyway because it came with Word.
Problem appears to be that good old Schedule + works just
fine with Windows 2000 Server, but Outlook wants us to buy
Exchange.
Is this right, or can we use Outlook with just 2000 Server
as we do now with Schedule +?
