Upgrade re-installation

Is it possible to re-install an upgrade edition of
OfficeXp after a hard drive crash and replacement?

Hi Bill,

Yes, as long as you have the CD for either an Office97
or Office 2000 product that is the basis for qualifying
to install the upgrade edition of Office XP.

You don't need to install the older version, just need
the CD during Office XP setup.

How did you work around them asking for the key and then
saying it wasn't valid?
