are we talking a stand-alone system or project central to project server
type upgrade?
do you have much code (vba) in your project files?
in my (limited) experience - upgrading a project 2000 to project 2003
standard (no workgroup type environment) was completely painless

If you are using the Standard version of 2000, upgrading to 2003 Standard is
simple
If you're talking about the Professional version and integrating
with servers - that's a real task - in which case, try posting on the server
newsgroup. (Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project Newsgroups.)
