Upgrade to 2007?

Are there any advantages to using Frontpage 2007, as compared to Frontpage
2003?

Any disadvantages--new bugs, etc.?

2003 is the last.

They now call it Expressions. If that is what you are referring to, I
don't have any comparison knowledge, sorry. Just letting you know there
is no "FrontPage 2007.

What comes with Office 2007 then? FrontPage2003? Or Expressions?

Office Professional:

Word 2007
Excel 2007
PowerPoint 2007
Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager
Publisher 2007
Accounting Express 2007
Access 2007

FrontPage 2003 was a separate purchase for me. To my knowledge is was
never incorporated in an Office suite.

I think you are correct on the correct title of the current MS web site
software: Expression Web. Disregard the Expressions as I had suggested.

I haven't decided which way I will go in the future. There are some
limitations on the Expression Web and I don't know how Internet Explorer
7 will affect my existing web site created in FPage 2003 and using IE6.

Expressions Web (Part of Expressions Suite) is more like mixing frontpage
with Dreamweaver. If you have experience with both it is pretty cool. Not
very many books on it. I got most of what i have used from the on-line
tutorials. Just my .02 cents....

1) Would you recommend Dreamweaver over Expressions Web?

2) If Expressions Web is part of Expressions Suite, what else is
included in the "Suite"?

Thanks in advance,

Expressions suite (in my opinion) is microsoft's attempt to compete with
CS3. A whole lot of similar products. I have not used them, but have them
installed. There is a photo editing program (photoshop)called Design, a
vector graphics program (Illustrator) called Blend (With Expression Blend,
you can design cutting-edge user interfaces and collaborate with developers
using the same tool. Thanks to a common file format, separate views for
design and markup, and individual design and animation workspaces, you can
work with Expression Blend in whatever way you feel most comfortable. - this
is from splash screen). Microsoft Media (Flash) and Web (Dreamweaver).

Would i recommend it over Dreamweaver, honestly I have not used it enough to
be able to make a fair statement. But, I currently use Dreamweaver and
Frontpage. But, I do not have time to go through a learning curve to switch
only to Expressions Web. Maybe over the summer, when i can get some time, I
may decide i like it. I am an old dog, and you know what they say about
them (I mean other than put them to sleep!!!) Microsoft's web site does a
pretty good job explaining these products.
