Upgrade

S

Stephen Doyle

I have Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106 and want to upgrade to Outlook from
Office 2000 9.0.2720.
Is there anything I should be aware of, and any tricks to follow. I
obviously want to keep my stored messages and address book.
TIA
Cheers
Mr Doyle

Hi, Stephen,

See if this helps:

Microsoft Outlook vs. Outlook Express:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olexpr.htm

It contains information about the differences, and how to migrate to Outlook
from Outlook Express (incidentally, this isn't an "upgrade"; they are two
entirely different products).

Hope that helps--

hi stephen,

she's right there... it's certainly not an upgrade. if you use hotmail with
outlook,
it's most definitely a downgrade. make sure you've got a backup before you
switch to outlook - you may want to switch BACK!
