upgrading outlook 2000 to outlook 2003

After Updating to Outlook 2003 I am not able to set Rules and alerts. Rules
are giving error. Kindly mail and help in this matter as soon as possible.

Did you create a new mail profile? There are problems when you upgrade from
OL 2000 to 2003 and don't create a new mail profile.
