Upgrading path problem

meeeeeh

We're running into a weird problem, trying to upgrade from Office:mac 2001
to Office:mac v.X

We just upgraded a computer from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X 10.3.5 but when
we tried to install Office:mac v.X from an Upgrade CD it asks us to locate
Office:mac 2001 on the hard drive. Well, Office:mac 2001 only runs in OS 9
and not in OS X so we can't reinstall it. But without Office:mac 2001 we can't
use the Office:mac v.X Upgrade CD.

Anyone ran into similar problem? What should we do? I've just set up a
passport account and everything to email microsoft using their email
support page...so now it's just a waiting game. But we need to get this up
and running ...

Thanks.
