upgrading to 2003

I want to upgrade to OUtlook 2003 from Outlook 2002.
During the installation process I get a message that
says "Outlook 2002 must be removed before 2003 can be
installed".
I am concerned that my data from 2002 will be lost.
Your thoughts?

It won't. Office installations never touch the data files.

The data files will be there when you install 2003.
