If you are installing your upgrade (Office 2003) on the same computer your oem version was originally purchased with there should be no problem. Be sure to disable your firewall and anti virus software before installation
Also, you should make a backup of your documents folders, or wherever you keep your saved files. You never know...so there should be a backup for re-install if needed
Speaking of backup files, there are many posts of missing product key codes for installation. To protect yourself in the future you should create a file in Word, Excel, or Access that contains your activation key codes for future reference. Print copies in case you need them.
