Uploading revisions

I've used Publisher for my website. Recently I noticed that the time taken
for revision uploads process is taking longer. I thought I remember reading
that Publisher only uploads the pages that were revised. Is that true? Is
there a setting that can be changed to effect this?
Thanks,
Tom

In Pub 2003 and 2007, Tools > Options > web tab check "Enable incremental
publish...", but I think you have to use HTTP uploading protocol. It won't
work with FTP.

Its possible that you have added images without compressing them, and the
more you have, the longer it will take.

If you have follow up or future web questions, please post in the
microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign group and we will help you there.

hi David

i am hoping you can help me too. i use Publisher 2003 (office 2003) and
although i have enabled incremental publish, anytime i make a change, it
seems to upload the whole site - www.overthetop.co.za - any ideas as to why?

One post above this one:

Incremental only works if you are using HTTP uploading and the Front Page
service extensions are active and working on your host. If you are using FTP
uploading, no incremental uploading, and the FPSE need to be reinstalled as
FTP uploading will corrupt them.
