Urgent Help with Word Forms

Hi All,
First of all i am bare beginner. I am trying to acheive this on my word
document.

I want the user to choose a number from a drop down box. [(i.e.) He
selcts the Number of Products: ]
Based on the number he chooses, i should be able to populate that many
tables.

I am wondering if it is possible to do this.

Some of the points to be considered.

Each of this tables have the following format

Product Name: textBox(for the user to fill the name of the product)
description : textBox(to fill descrption)
Number of Competitors: Check box(with number which again should create
another table)

I will really appreciate if some one can shed some light into this. I
will really appreciate it. Atleast some technical articles, that i can
looka t some samples.

Hi Vikrampn,

This is quite a big bite for a beginner So I think the project needs
to be approached in mini-bite-sized pieces.

1. Version of Word?

2. You talk about "populating tables". Where do you imagine the
information you want to put in the tables should come from? Do you have
it in a database, somewhere?

Or are you talking about inserting sets pre-defined of tables containing
fields for further user input?

Should this form be protected, so that the user can only do what you
allow (data entry, only)? Have you looked at the Forms and the Controls
Toolbox toolbars and played around with them, at all? Do you have a
preference, and if yes, why?
