urgent need of help for access 2000, lost my password

when trying to access my files and being prompted to logon , in the name
field admin appears by default but i cannot enter any password in the
password field as i have lost it.

Sounds like you'll need to try to hack into your own database... search the
net, there are tools for this kind of problem. Those may not be free though.
