Use Netscape as e-mail client from Word

How can I change Word to use Netscape as the e-mail client from Word, rather than Outlook. I've tried Control panel --> Internet Options --> program tab --> e-mail, and it IS set to Netscape already. Thanks, Donr

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs (tab) > in
the "E-mail", pop down menu, choose "Netscape Mail" > Apply > OK.

Thanks, I did that. But it's the same set of panels from Internet
Explorer as it is from the Control panel --> Internet Options. And
clicking on an e-mail hyperlink in Word still opens up Outlook Express,
rather than Netscape. I'd surely accept any other suggestions you may have.

I appreciate your response.

What version of Netscape are you running? Open Netscape, go to Edit -
Preferences > Mail & Newsgroups > check "Use Netscape Mail as the default
mail application.

I'm using Netscape 7.1. Another good suggestion, but Outlook Express
still opens, rather than Netscape. I wonder if there is a registry
entry associated with Word that's being referenced that's not obvious?
Thanks again.

I'm using Mozilla 1.4 but that's close enough to Netscape 7.1 I think.

Word calls up the right mailer now that I have the registry key -

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\mailto\shell\open\command

set to

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla\bin\mozilla.exe" -quiet -browser "%1"

Try it and see if it works.
