Use of arrows in documents

H

Herman

Hello,

I use a lot of arrows in my documents, like the ones you find in the
Wingdings lettertype. But it seems to be such a complicated way
around : changing the lettertype to wingdings, find the key for the
arrow and then go back to the regular lettertype. I suspect there
must be a shorter and more efficient way.
Can you help me ?
Thank you very much.

From Insert Symbol, find the symbol you want (like right pointing arrow),
click short cut and assign it a symbol such as <Ctl><Alt><shift>">", press
assign and then everytime you press that sequence it is assigned.

You can also use auto correct from the same screen.
