User Defined Theme

Hi All,

I have created a new theme for a website I am developing for a friend of
mine and it is working very well, except for two annoying things.

Firstly, The Vertical and Horizontal Navigation Buttons have the colour
'Teal' applied to them, which is visible in Split View, Design View and
Preview. However, when viewed in a browser the buttons are a dark colour
(possibly black) and not Teal. They do change to Teal when Hovered but do
not stay this way when Pressed.

I have all three modes set to Teal, to test this out.

I have no CSS for this yet as I want to find what the problem here is first.
However, if I unpack the theme I do see the CSS files for the theme.

My first question is, do I have to change something in one or more of the
CSS files that are packed in the theme, or have I missed something obvious
somewhere?

So as to make things easier for questions about the theme, I have set every
colour within the theme to teal.

Secondly, I notice that although I created this theme (which is now all
completely teal), the Global Navigation Buttons still have black text on
them, which I appear not to be able to change.

I do not know if these two are connected, and to be honest, at the moment I
am not worried about the text on the GNB's, but I mentioned it in case it
was relevant to my first question.

See if this helps you understand working w/ themes
http://sbrenjoy.bizland.com/frontpage/themes/newthemes.html#Granular

Applying the theme using CSS will generate a themename css file

Theme css files & what they are used for:
graph0.css - Normal Graphics Selections / Changes to theme (from .elm file)
graph1.css - Active Graphics Selections / Changes to theme (from .elm file)
color0.css - Normal Color Selections / Changes to theme (from .elm file)
color1.css - Active Color Selections / Changes to theme (from .elm file)
theme.css - Font Selections to theme
custom.css - Created only if you modify a theme, collects Changes to above & any styles
themename1111.css - Created only if you Apply theme using css - combines All of above
