I would like to see a downloadable User Guide or Instruction Manual for
Publisher, Visio, and other office products. I know that online help is
helpful, but sometimes I would like to hold in my hand a book with real pages
and read it. I have done this with other applications, such as Visual Basic
and FrameMaker, and I always find something new that I didn't know, some
shortcut, some way of doing something I didn't even know could be done. Help
files chop the information into such tiny pieces, but an instruction manual
gives an overview.

You say it should be downloadable, but you say you want to hold it in your
hands.

Published books are generally more environmentally-friendly, easily-used and
cost-effective than printed, downloaded books.

Publisher 2002 Deluxe came with a decent user guide. I'm not sure whether
Publisher 2003 with Digital Imaging (the new name for the Deluxe version)
did.

The best way to become familiar with and gain mastery of the product is to
use it, and discuss it with others right here.
