user pst files disappear

I just reinstalled exchange server 5.5 and run terminal services on a NT 4 server. Prior to reinstalling the users had their own pst files in their own user directories. Now after a Outlook session they disappear. It didn't work like this before. Users that don't use terminal server have no problem with their pst files stored in the same location.
