user view only as presentation, limit slide viewing by user

I'm making slideshows to include in an online course and I'd like to

1. make them only openable with the viewer

2. create limits on which slides users can view

For example, If I have asked a question for them to answer, I want them to
only be able to deal with that question before they go on (like "wrong
answer--try again!"), not just scroll through all questions and all answers
if they want.

Thanks for your help!

What you want may be mutually exclusive. If you are going to use the viewer,
you can't have any VBA code in the presentation. This will limit your right
vs. wrong check to just hyperlinked slides and custom shows.

The best way to limit movement in a presentation is to make the presentation
a Kiosk (Slide show--> Set up show, then click the kiosk circle). If you do
this, make sure you give navigation elements for all slides.
