using ALT-arrows key to move graphics

Using Word 2003 on Windows 2000.

I'm new to Word 2003 and am wondering how to select graphics items
and move them by small increments. I used to do this by selecting
the graphic and then using ALT-arrows to reposition the graphic.
With Word 2003, this doesn't seem to be working. Do I need to do
something special to enable it?

Thanks.

Hi Barbara,

If you select the graphic and from the Drawing Toolbar
choose Draw=>Text Wrapping, is the picture wrapping set
at 'in line with text'? If so you won't be able to use
the Alt+Arrows to move it, any other choice will allow
you to do so. Word 2003 allows items you couldn't previously
put in as 'in line with text', such as WordArt, to now
be put in with that wrap style.

In Word 2003 you can set the default wrapping style
for new artwork in Tools=>Options=>Edit
