Using Entourage to access mail in ComcastSmartZone Communication center

Ever since Comcast migrated all email functions to their new SmartZone Communication Center, Entourage only displays <no subject>, 'From' is blank, 'To' is blank, and 'Received' shows only the date/time at the moment you check your email.

How is this corrected?

I have Comcast e-mail and do not have this problem. How is your account
setup with regards to Mail server and SMTP server?

FYI -- "Received" ALWAYS shows the time that you checked your mail. It means
the time that Entourage received it, not the time your mail server received
it. Most users find it more useful to display "Sent" than "Received".

I've always had my accounts set up with 'Allow Online Access' enabled so that I may preview the email rather than downloading it first.

I have multiple email addresses visible in Folder View. This way, I was able to simply 'preview' the email on the server wthout needing to actually download it.

This use to work as intended.

Instead of using 'Send & Receive', try previewing only with 'Allow Online Access' enabled.

Interesting. This configuration works fine for me, as far as I can tell. (I
don't get much mail through my Comcast address, but the little I have is
visible via online access.)

I assume that Comcast provides your Internet access, as well as your email.
Have you checked their customer support for any ideas?

I just checked my Comcast account using online access and have no problems
seeing subject and dates.

Have you considered downloading only partial parts of the message? This
allows you to see what the mail is without downloading the entire message.

Under Tools in the Menu bar, select Accounts. Click on the Options tab.
Check Partially receive messages over 10 KB.

FWIW, Online access is a tool to view mail, but is not meant as your main
option for dealing with your mail. It is not as robust as a way to manage
your emails as downloading into Entourage.
