using excel in powerpoint

I copied a chart from Excel and pasted it into PowerPoint. I would like to
animate part of the chart (some text) but I haven't been able to find a way
to do it. Any suggestions?

To animate the text on the chart, you can ungroup the chart so as to add
animation onto the text individually. To ungroup the chart, right click on
it, select Grouping > Ungroup. When prompted, click yes. Repeat this step
again and you will be able to select the text. Finally, add the animation you
want onto the text.
