Using MS Office on 3 computers

Nancy

I want to upgrade from my 2002 version of MS Office Professional. I have
read other questions/answers and get the idea that I can load the software
onto 3 different computers without a problem. Is this correct? If so, must
I get the CD's rather than using a download process? And, my 2002 version
included Front Page. Is Expression Web no longer part of Office?

1. How many computers depends on the version - Office Home and Student
allows for 3 installs, most other retail purchases allow for 2, Home Use
Program allows for one, OEM allows for install on computer with which it was
purchased and no other.

2. Having the CD is always better than relying on a download that can be
corrupted by a bad sector on your hard drive or a virus.

3. Expression Web is a separate purchase.

No commercial version of Office Professional since 2000 has included Front
Page, your copy was either a pirated copy or a home use program copy.

Its also the case that physically purchasing the cd version form a third
party supplier is cheaper than the MS download pkge.
