Using one dropdown list to control the items selectable in another

I'm new to InfoPath, so apologies if this has been asked already.

I've been tasked with designing a form from which users will input data that
will inform creation of SKUs in our warehouse system. It's going fine thus
far, with one exception: I need to create two drop-down lists (let's call
them A and B) in which multiple options in the contents of B are conditioned
to display based on the content selected for A.

For example, list A will have the following:
1. First item
2. Second item
3. Third item
and so on

while list B will have the following:

If you selected item 1, the following will display and be selectable:
1a. Option for item 1
1b. Another option for item 1
1c. Yet another option for item 1.

If you selected item 2, the following will display and be selectable:
2a. Option for item 2
2b. Another option for item 2.

3a. Option for item 3
3b. Another option for item 3.
and so on.

Users will have to enter this information sequentially, so drop-down list B
cannot be available until an option from drop-down list A has been selected.

Any advice you can give me on if and how this can be accomplished would be
greatly appreciated.
