Using "Open Web" Dialog Box

J

JRM

The "Open Web" dialog box does not display the files with
FrontPage extensions (.htm,.jpg,etc.) when I access my
Web site folder for uploading. It only displays the
standard FrontPage folders. These missing pages all
appear in the "Open" dialog box, the FrontPage folder
list, and in Windows Explorer. The Web pages also preview
just as they should in Internet Explorer and Netscape.
Any suggestions on how to get these files to display
in "Open Web" so I can upload them to the Web server?

Also, when I type my domain URL in the Web name box, it
displays an error message saying the folder is not
accessible -- although I have no problem accessing the
same Web address online.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When you click Open Web, FrontPage opens
the My webs folder where you should then see a folder
with the FrontPage web Icon.
Clicking this folder will then open your web.
Then select File > Publish Web.

To publish try entering http://yourdomain.com
the www is not needed.
