When I have been asking for help in these communities I have been getting
replies very quickly, so thanks to all have responded.
My problem is that with the first two or so replies I go get straight to
them by clicking on the link in the 'automated msn notify' mails and then
logging in via my .net passport. That has since stopped happening and despite
logging in as before, I am now not taken to the correct section and even page
where my original posting (with reply/replies) shown on the far right. I am
ending up instead on a page which shows the list on the left of all the
different languages that the postings are written in. Which of course means I
am now having to trawl through all the postings and replies on quite a few
different sections if I can't remember what section I posed the question in.
I have posted quite a few questions recently and all but two of them have
been answered within 36 hours - the other postings not answered yet. They
were answers to questions from someone else.
My pc tech specs are:
Win' XP sp2, Outlook/Word 2002 inc Office XP sp3, I.E.6/AOL 9.0 Broadband,
Microsoft and AOL AntiSpyware v2.0 as well as Spyware Doctor 3.2, Spyware
Blaster 3.5.1, Adaware SE 1.06, CCleaner, + Free Internet Eraser v 2.05.
I also use Norton Internet Security 2005 and System Works Premier 2005
It probably looks a bit like overkill on the security front but various
other phone 'experts' have never told me when I have called and asked that I
am using too many as not every app' finds everything and each one seems to
look in different places and find different things. Or at least they all
describe what they find differently and they all scan different number of
files/folders and locations.
