Using PWA on non-Project Server

Hi,

I read that it is possible to use all of the Project Web Access controls to
access other data sources, to create gantt charts of data not related to MS
Project. The scenario still involved accessing data from the same system as
the Project Server albeit alternate data. Wondered if anyone knows what
server side items need to be setup in order to configure a completely
separate server to provide webs that could be viewed using PWA.
