Using the project status date as part of a filter

I run multiple filters (8) that are based on the project status date. As the
filters are applied I am prompted to enter the status date each time. Is
there anyway to incorporate the status date as part of the filter? Note: The
status date that I am refering to is listed under the pull down menu;
project/project information/status date.

Since [Status Date] is not an available date field in project filters, you
will have to trick the system by creating a custom task level Date field
that simply equals the [Status Date]. Once you define this custom field
then you can create a filter that compares a date against your custom status
date field.

Hope that helps,

Jonathan, thank you for responding so quickly. I will give it a try.
