I have been trying to use watermarks on 2003. The jpg image repeats on the
outside boundary of the web pages. What wrong?

The code:
<body style="background-image: url('Hoist-Rack-2.jpg');
background-attachment: fixed">

Thanks for your help, but the fix still did not work. The image does not displayed within the webite. The image still displays on the left and right sides of the webpage.

can you post the URL for the problem page(s) so others may look at what you
mean?

Ok people the site is www.weightliftingtrainer.com - I will place the file
back on so you can see it. I put the site up a few days ago.

Thanks,

Well, if you change
<body style="background-image: url('images/hip-sled-1.jpg'); background-attachment: fixed">
to
<body style="background-image: url('images/hip-sled-1.jpg'); background-attachment: fixed; background-repeat: no-repeat">
you won't get a repeating image

But is that what you want? It will only appear once at the same size as one of the current images.

Do you want a larger image in the background?

If so, you will have to make it larger in an image editor before using it.

Your title is "using watermarks", so perhaps you want it transparent. You will have to do this in an image editor also.

I also had the thought that you may want it as a background to the main area. In this case, add the style= to the appropriate <div>

looks fine to me.
personally, I'd wash-out the images some, so it's not so strong.

Ok I have tried the code that was suggested, but nothong has changed where the watermarks appear. I am trying to get the watermarks to appear in the body text area, not on the outide of the body.

Still open for cofing suggestions.

Dood, it looks good the way it is, if you put it in the content area it'll
be *really* hard to read your content.

Look to edit your DWT if you really want to do that.

sorry meant you need to change your CSS - not DWT

On a completely different point, your "About Me" link is Page Not Found.
also the file name "about me.htm" has a space in it, it is best not to use
spaces in filenames - use no space at all, or underscore (such as
"about_me.htm").
