Using Word Objects in InfoPath Forms

Hello, I am new to InfoPath 2007. We are looking to convert Word Document
Templates that we use for creating documentation such as HOW TO's, Manuals,
Policies and Procedures. Most fot these documents contain a Table of
Contents that is updated as you write the document. Is it possible to have
such an object in InfoPath Forms and if so, how do I go about it? Would we
be talking code here? Thank your for your responses in advance.

Hi Miner49er,
this sounds like an interesting solution, the only way I can think of to do
this is to use a repeating section that is updated with the required TOC
information as the form is completed. That being said I've also been trying
to think why InfoPath would be a better option over a document template?

Cheers

Possible solution:
Write your fields to an xml file and display as datasource in your infopath
document. When the xml file is updated so will the form. switching views
should reload your datasource to refresh the data displayed.
