Using Word to create Basic Webpage

I am creating a beginning webpage and I would like to make my hyperlinks play
a sound when they are clicked. Does anyone have any clue as to how I can
make this happen? I know Word is limited for this purpose, but I didn't want
to have to go out and buy a much more expensive program for a generic type of
webpage.

Make a "sound" file (with another tool) and add to your web site. From
Word, link to this sound file.

You may wish to use Notepad to edit your HTML pages (rather than Word),
and you should also consider investing in a book on web page making.
