Using Word XP as the Email Editor in Outlook 2003

I am using Office 2002 at work. They put in a new server with Exchange 2003
and upgraded our individual Outlooks to 2003. But we still have Office/Word
2002.

I cannot use Word at my email editor in Outlook. The only option is Word
2003 as email editor and it is grayed out.

Is there a way to use Word 2002(XP) as the editor in Outlook 2003?

The versions must be the same Outlook/Word 2003.
