validation rule in sql server

Hi Group!

It is very practial to use the Validation rule and Validation rule text in
Access applications. I know these things can also get usesd in SQL Server.
My problem is that the validation rule works well but I only get the error
message of the SQL Server and not the message I defined in the validation
rule text. Anyone an idea how to prevent the SQL Server to use the internal
error messages?
